Dr. Wasser is a licensed psychologist based in Montclair, NJ who provides psychotherapy, consulting and coaching services to adults, adolescents and pre-adolescents.
Dr. Wasser previously worked at the NYU Child Study Center, Rutgers University and in the adult and adolescent private practice of Dr. Mark Lowenthal, located in Maplewood, NJ. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New Jersey Psychological Association.
As a consultant and coach, Dr. Wasser has worked with the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Columbia Business School. From 2007 to 2014 he was also a member of the Boswell Group, a psychoanalytic management consulting practice based in New York. Prior to that he was an associate in the consulting practice of Cynthia Grace, PhD.
Dr. Wasser was a Chancellor's Fellow and received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). He received his MA in Psychology from The City College of New York (CCNY) and his BA Cum Laude from the University of Michigan. Dr. Wasser completed his Clinical Internship at the New Jersey VA Medical Center. He also trained at Bellevue Hospital Center and Bronx Children’s Psychiatric Center.
Earlier in his career Dr. Wasser developed and led the sales and marketing departments for a growing business that was subsequently acquired by a public company.
